The Sheriff’s Office wants to help families within the county with their needs at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year was a great success because of all the help we received from local merchants and individuals from our community.

1/11/2023 - Steve Wallace (Retired Deputy Sheriff, Arkansas) will be out seeking donations from local area business in Washington County over the next few weeks. The purpose of the donations are to support edcuation and safety materials for children. These materials will be used by the WCSO during events such as the Washington County Free Fair, SunFest, D.A.R.E. and other community type events. Should any business have questions or concerns, please call 918-332-4000 and ask to speak with any of the administrative assistants, the Undersheriff or Sheriff Owen.

8/31/2021 - This is our 7th year to host this benefit show, which we have seen grow each year! The top 20 cars will receive a $50 cash award, door prizes will be on hand, raffle for one of 3 different firearms, and concessions will be on hand. All proceeds from concessions go directly to support the WCSO's annual Thanksgiving and Christmas programs for local families in need.
